Remember a few posts ago, when I talked about annoying things? I mentioned losing a file.
Yeah, well...
that just happened.
No biggie. I mean, I've only been working on this 200 pt project for 3 hours straight.
I ask myself: "Why didn't I freaking save it?!"
I have no idea, folks. Wish me luck...

Dear Friends
(please read this "dear" as "dear to me"... not like a letter)
I love my life!
Just in case you were wonderin'.
Being a Senior in High School in the last two weeks of school totally rocks. My Senior pictures are done, and oh, the joy! I'm too lazy to put them up here individually, but click here to view them at my photographer's website, and be prepared to be amazed with her excellent work. Basically, Amanda is incredible. In case you guys were wonderin' that too. She's also doing Trina and Tanner's wedding, which makes me excited because obviously she's going to capture the beauty in a phenomenal way.
Last night I went to work in a good mood. Quickly, this mood turned to hyper. By the time we were closing I was playing the broom guitar, and I think my fellow employees were really confused because up to this point, I've been rather quiet at work. Oh-ho... little did they know...
Tonight I'm gonna ROCK it out at the Senior Dinner Dance. I've been practicing whipping my hair back and forth, ladies and gentlemen.... And let me say the best time to do so is definitely RIGHT after you finish straightening your hair.
As for now, I'm going to go chop some salad at work. Wish me luck!

Those Who Know Me Too Well
Some of you might claim to know me.
Like.... you might claim to know me better than 99% of the population.
Which is definitely true.
In fact, ALL of you know me more that 99% of the population, just because you're one of 16 people that read my blog, where I occasionally [usually] tell you random things about myself, my life, and the world I live in.
There are, however, less than 20 people in this world that know be well enough to have seen my awkward dancing.
There's my immediate family, my soon to be brother-in-law, my mom's best friend, and a couple people in my extended family.
...And that's it.
The awkward dancing. "What is it?", you may ask? Well. Occasionally, I whip out my super awkward dance moves. And I'm not talking like 'Oh, I'm being awkward!' I"m talking like you look at me and feel bad because I act like I think I'm good at dancing.
Make sense?
You know when you're at a dance and everyone randomly circles up and then people go into the middle and groove? And sometimes, you're like, "Wow. You can really dance!" or "I wish I could imitate MJ like him!" but then sometimes you also say to yourself, "Oh. I feel bad. They're okay. But not that good. Everyone's starring. Including me."
Yeah I totally do that, but on purpose.
And yes, I'm definitely aware that some people might think that even when I'm not doing official awkward dancing, but I don't really care. Because I have fun at dances and could care less if people, uh... critique my dance moves.
Last night, I totally broke out in awkward dance. At my aunt and uncle's house, surrounded by more people than ever before. It was relatively embarrassing, but totally perfect because I had on my gardening clothes that seriously just add so much to the whole awkwardness of the vision. My uncle came over after and I asked him if he had seen my dancing. He remarked that yes he had, but he looked away because he felt bad for me.
That's how awkward it is folks.
And unless I marry you, or the occasion arises when I can't resist the urge and you happen to be right there (this is not likely to happen, by the way), you're never going to see it.
So I just wrote this post to taunt you.

Really Frustrating Things That I'm Guessing You Hate Too: Volume One
When people LIE TO YOU to make you FEEL BAD (you know who you are *coughscootercough*).
When people walk in front of you and they walk REALLY SLOW.
Seriously, people? Can you pick up the pace? Specifically in the school hallways, this is really annoying. I know you might want to slowly meander and then stop in the bottleneck and talk with your friends, but I kind of want to get to class so I don't have to associate with you anymore.
That cough in your throat that you can't seem to get rid of.
The one that, no matter what kind of noise you make, doesn't go away? And so you awkwardly try to make a "grrrr" sound, then you try the "eeeggghhh", and when that doesn't work you attempt the "aaagghhherrrrrccckkkk" and everyone looks at you like you have a disease. Which you sort of do.
Biting your tongue/the inside of your cheek.
I find this one especially terrible if you bite really hard and draw blood. And then if you can feel the presence of this little lump as it tries to make talking and eating painful. Usually it succeeds.
Stubbing a toe.
You know, this and breaking a nail are always made into a sort of joke - "Oh, you poor baby... did you stub your toe?" But really - these things hurt. I mean, obviously on the a pain scale, it's not that bad - I'd take them over child birth any day. But when you're totally oblivious and you really just JAM that toe, or RIP that nail - ouch. Pain.
When you're typing something really important and suddenly the file gets deleted.
It's the night before a Research paper is due. The 4 page one that you procrastinated until this afternoon, of course. You're almost 3 pages in, and you haven't saved it yet, despite your father saying multiple times, "Remember to save it!" Just as you're about to go save it, everything disappears, out of the blue. You try hitting ctrl+z, but it fails you. Everything is gone. Yeah this stinks. Usually you can find the file somehow, but those few minutes of panic? The absolute worst.

Today
Something about today just screams summer.
This morning I woke up refreshed and happy after the most incredible evening at Knightstock. Music, games, Tangled, hot dogs... everything was perfect. You know how sometimes you go to social events and you are by a few of your friends, but you look around and are sad because some of them are elsewhere? Yeah, well no problem last night - nearly all my friends were all in one large group, laying on the grass and cuddling up in blankets.
Then after waking up, I ate Captain Crunch. Umm... yes. That means my dad went shopping, because my mom never gets Captain Crunch.
I took Jack (dog) out to go to the bathroom, and realized what a perfect day it was. The sun was shining, and there was a slight breeze, not too hot and not too cold. I lay down in the grass and just enjoyed the moment with my dog.
I decided it was time to pull out my paints. And a pretty good idea to do it outside.
At noon, I went to a tea party. Yeah, like a full-blown tea party. None of this wimpy stuff. We all looked adorable and there were cucumber sandwiches and 7 different kinds of herbal tea. We drank out of real china and played games.
I came home, and proceeded to paint some more.
Garrett and I just went to get some food at Taco Time and Barbacoa.
And I'm about to head off to an early graduation party, where there will be both friends and fire. Both of which basically make any party cool.

It is finished.
...My AP English Literature & Composition test.
I did it this morning.
Showed up in my sweats, comfy shoes, and lucky t-shirt, with my hair free-flowing for maximum (calming) nervous-habit twirling.
I had four pencils, and three pens. My favorite pens, of course.
I sat right in the middle.
I answered 55 questions and read 5 passages in 60 minutes.
I wrote 3 essays in 2 hours.
AND I CONQUERED.
