so this isn't going with the whole 30 day thing...
because right now i'm working on my definition of love. and that takes time, because i want it to be right. so hold your horses (i know, all your figurative horses aren't waiting to plow ahead and read my blog. you're probably not anxious. but possibly i'll humor myself and think your horses are).
so for now, please read this lovely poem i just analyzed:
I Thank You God for Most this Amazing Day
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any - lifted from the no
of all nothing - human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my eyes awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

oh, how beautiful. i love it. and i love learning how to dig deep and analyze, because then i have so much more appreciation for the beautiful poetry. i think that in jr. high my choir sung a song to this poem. it was really amazing, and i kept thinking about it as i analyzed. in fact, i think that's what first made me notice this poem more than the others.
saturday is preference, and i am excited. i'm going with dress #1, and today i got some cute fuchsia shoes (seriously, cute is the only way to describe these shoes. they're extremely attractive). and i'm going with mooney. win.
i also had a lovely day, baking cookies with shelby and mindy and asia. it was especially lovely because in seminary i have sister siebold, which has always been my dream (yeah, not kidding). and i knew that whoever i got would be right for me, and i would have had a good attitude about it, but in my head i was saying "heavenly father, please give me the right teacher for my last semester, and if that right teacher is sister siebold that would rock. love, anna". and it happened and i'm so happy about it. only 80 minutes with her so far and i already have felt the spirit so strong and she honestly wants to make me be a better person. and her love story is epic, which makes me excited to fall in love.
which brings us back to the love point. so hold those ponies (gasp!) back and wait patiently. it'll come.
it'll come.
