Today we had a family council at breakfast (German pancakes, my mom is a saint) to decide what to do for New Year's.
Traditionally, we've gone to this delicious Japanese restaurant in Orem for lunch/dinner. It rocks. It's wonderful. And the waitress tells us the kinds of ice cream flavors they offer and pronounces plum as "prum" and it's awesome.
But apparently some of my siblings only recently decided to announce they don't like the food there (which is insanity, because it's scrumptious). My dad wants to stay at home and watch the Rose Bowl. The girls need to get some shopping done. And we're picking up a friend from the airport tonight. So there's no time. We're going Monday.
Cami watched us all saying what we had to do today, and pulled out some papers. She spent a while making a schedule for each of us. At 4:50, I had to get dressed. Trina had to work on a quilt, spelled "Qrett", at 4:00. I'm expected to play at 5:00. My father will be going bowling at 5:00, and Garrett will be playing kickball at 5:40.
The best one was my mom's:
Mom
3:50 Games
4:00 Be happy
Oh, if only life were that simple, Cami.
i love this.
